ANA PATRICIA MARTINEZ
Ana Patricia is an environmental engineer with specialization in air pollution, with a degree from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. She teaches environmental engineering at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM by its Spanish acronym). She has 30 years of experience in project development and environmental control studies in both the private and public sectors. She has performed various investigations, project evaluations and/or engineering in: management and final disposal of solid waste, both municipal and hazardous industrial; and has conducted studies in different cities across Mexico pertaining to municipal and hospital waste. Ana Patricia has authored two books, is a speaker in national and international conferences, coordinated the Regional Organization Group for Latin America and the Caribbean and received the National Award as one of the best students of Mexico.
