Daniel lOPEZHe is an Environmental Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and has a Masters degree in Comprehensive Environmental Administration from El Colegio de la Frontera Norte. In the professional arena, he began his career as an emissions monitoring technician. Later, he was part of the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change in the implementation of the National Atmospheric Monitoring Program in Mexico, in particular for the consolidation of a reference laboratory, as well as in technical support and training for local governments. He is currently Director of Air Quality at the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources, where the challenge of strengthening Air Quality Management has been raised, with the unavoidable participation of all sectors of society.
