DAVID a. rAMIREZ

TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

David A. Ramirez has been with the TCEQ for approximately 24 years and currently serves the Border and Permian Basin Area Director.  From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Ramirez was the Regional Director for the Harlingen and Laredo Region offices.  Previously, Mr. Ramirez was Air/Water/Waste Section Manager in the Harlingen Office.  Mr. Ramirez was hired in the Harlingen Regional Office in the summer of 1998 as an Environmental Investigator.  In this capacity, Mr. Ramirez conducted Air and Waste investigations and served as the Regional Safety Officer as well as the Emergency Response Coordinator.
