WEN-WHAI LI
UTEPDr. Li is a professor of civil engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso. His research interests include air quality monitoring and modeling, risk assessment, accident analysis, and physical simulation of the atmospheric environment. He has served as the major thesis advisor for and graduated 7 Ph.D. students and over 25 M.S. students. He has completed more than 35 research projects as principle investigator or co-investigator. He has published 38 journal articles, more than 110 conference proceedings and abstracts, and numerous technical reports. Dr. Li received his B.S. from National Taiwan University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Colorado State University, all in civil engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Illinois.
