This workshop includes an overview of air quality monitoring in five states that share an international border: Texas, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas. Participants will discuss permitting for rock crushers; meteorology and air quality; and experiences and challenges in operating an air monitoring program. Representatives from each state will present the current air quality management plans for their respective states, discuss goals to improve operation and maintenance of an air monitoring network and ultimately to improve air quality.
